Our fabulous WSHS Band directors, Myron Haug and Tim Gleason, along with our wonderful WSU intern, Bryan Hamilton, have been working hard to finalize the 2019 Florida Band Trip details. Now we need your input. Please discuss with your family if your musician will be joining the WSHS Winhawk Band on its bi-annual trip to Florida. Here are the preliminary details:
The buses will leave on Saturday, November 23, 2019 early morning and returning Friday, November 29, 2019 early evening;
The itinerary negotiations are ongoing with our trip providers, but mission number one is to keep the costs below $1000.00.
Which brings me to the next item: Our Spring Fundraiser. Attached, please find the flier for the popular “Pastry Puffin” sales. Kickoff for this popular fundraiser started 3/19/19 and ends 4/2/19. Family members and friends need these goodies for their spring events. Ask your band member how the items taste, as samples will be provided at the kickoff event.
In the meantime, here are some other action items:

Preferred contact e-mail address.
Accordingly, we will make sure the reservation list is updated, and fundraiser accounts are intact, so that all the proceeds from past and future fundraisers are counted towards the trip. Discussions are ongoing about participating in additional fundraisers.
